The film is beautiful and radiates its own healing light by just watching it. I purchased a copy to support Affinityfilms as well as those I serve in our community who do not have a lot of emotional, financial or physical support and look forward to having this film in my library.Debbie Sis

Partners In Healing Synopsis

  • A new documentary film about integrative medicine created to provide an introduction for anyone wishing to take an active role in health and healing.
  • Introduces yoga, massage, meditation, reflexology, Zentangle, acupuncture, traditional healing, nutrition, craniosacral therapy, exercise, activism, and advocacy as healing modalities.

This 46-minute documentary film features practitioners and patients from Alaska in a variety of locations across the state. Designed to be healing in style and presentation, the film moves smoothly between 12 modalities of integrative care with connecting commentary by two experts in the field, Dr. Lyn Freeman and Dr. Gary Ferguson.  Locations range from the Kenai Peninsula to Ketchikan to Southcentral Alaska. Finding and appreciating the natural beauty around us by connecting to nature is healing. The original soundtrack to the film, composed by Brian Satterwhite has been created to be supportive and relaxing as well.  The mission of Partners in Healing is to provide a safe, gentle introduction to some of the many ways to become involved in one’s own healing.

What a beautiful film. Thank you. It’s really great to be educating about the concept of “integrative healing” I’ve been calling it “all of the above” like I’m checking boxes. Now I’ve got a term.Lisa Paesani

It was a wonderful evening. Excellent film: I loved the way you set up the holistic healing components – focusing on each one individually. Perfect.Cheryl Childers
